Our review
Overall, we enjoyed this book ‘though it was sad and there were no real winners. All the characters were believable with the most rounded being the narrator, Tom. We felt that Izzy’s depression and manipulation of Tom (though understandable) caused great pain to everyone involved – her parents, Tom, Hannah and Lucy/Grace – and also detrimentally affected her own life. A rather tragic tale.
