Our Review
We all enjoyed this atmospheric book about Griet and her life as a servant and muse for Johannes Vermeer. A beautifully written, slow-paced book that realistically showed the difficult life experienced by naive Griet and gave an interesting insight into how paintings are staged as well as life and love in the 16th century.
